We also have a few other items for sale. For example laser-cut people to use in the sand, disabled figures available separately, a navy-blue fleece, and some other baskets for storing your own storytelling materials that you may gather:
You can also tell stories with anything you find!
Any materials can be used to tell OutoftheBox stories. Natural materials, such as stones, sticks, shells and leaves can be lovely to use. Any items you have to hand can be used, such as glasses, napkins and cutlery, or children’s toys and household ornaments. Your imagination endows the items with character and the story can gain a life of its own no matter what materials are chosen. Natural materials can be used to great effect in the sand, on cloth, or on the ground:
Use any thing you have to hand! Here is a group sharing a story in a cafe using crisps, coins and torn pieces of napkins:
Whatever materials you use, playing with them as part of reflection and dialogue during Community Play can lead to significant new insights and discoveries.
